This week, there will be no philosophical inquirers or deep dive into words or concepts.
Not that I haven’t reflected on things. I have. A lot.
My mind has been all over the place dealing with laughter, gratitude, pride and sorrow.
But all those thoughts need to be synthesised into something… more before I share them here. Otherwise it would only be me rambling, and I will spare you that messy process for now.
What I have been doing since last time?
My mind has been occupied by other things these past two weeks. Mainly:
Grading exams and papers from my course.
Preparations and reflections on a presentation I gave last week.
The course was about sustainability and business. The presentation focused on global facts and misconceptions and was linked to my role as a Keynote speaker at Gapminder, which I’ve written about before.
Overwhelmed by the feedback on both my presentation and my course, my mind has been stretched in many directions.
When that happens you need to ground yourself.
Laugh with your loved ones,
listen to some good music,
play some games,
go for a walk.
That’s what I’ll be doing. Letting my mind rest a little.
I wish the same for you.
Until next time!
